Indo-French ties

Sir, — After a long time, Indo-French relations have become cordial with the visit of the French Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin.

India should enter into long-term defence agreements with France to manufacture sophisticated items for the defence forces. Both countries should join hands to fight global terrorism.
