In a statement made available to the media today, it said that becoming an active party in the ongoing legal battle on the issue would work to the advantage of the Sangh Parivar. " Any confrontationist stand on our part will serve the evil machinations of the Hindutva brigade,'' said Mr. Rashid shaz, leader of the Milli Parliament. He said that the stand of his organisation was to leave the matter to the judiciary and the conscience of the country. "We are not for launching a nationwide movement, as it this was an agenda that was thrown on them by the enemy''.The Milli Parliament said it was against any dialogue with the VHP, as it would be an act of futility.
