By A.V.Ragunathan
He has underscored the point that all the parties to the dispute must abide by the court verdict, even if it calls for shifting of the sanctum sanctorum of the proposed Ram temple at Ayodhya. The Acharya told presspersons here that as far as the undisputed land was concerned, a private individual had obtained a stay to the effect that the land must not be handed over to any of the parties to the dispute. The Acharya hoped that the stay would be vacated soon. In such an eventuality, the undisputed land would be handed over to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas Trust. Further, the sangh parivar and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad were not directly involved in the issue. They were only canvassing support and mobilising resources for temple construction. The Nyas had prepared a blueprint for the proposed temple and it would stick to its original plan till the pronouncement of the judgment. If the court verdict went against its stand about the location of the sanctum sanctorum, it could be relocated, he said. Asked whether Hindu organisations would agree to the shifting of the sanctum sanctorum, the Acharya said there were two types of justice "dharma needhi" and the "nyaya needhi". The former was free from politics and the latter being rendered by the court, and as such all must abide by the court's direction.
