Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
By Our Staff Reporter
At a meeting in the Housing Board Colony, Moulali, the committee decided to request cable TV users of the colonies not to give in to the demands of the operators. It noted that the operators proposed an increase in charges from the present Rs.150 to either Rs.180 or Rs.200. The meeting decided that if the operators did not agree to defer the proposed increase of charges, the committee would make alternate arrangements for providing cable TV connections. In this connection, the committee resolved to hold its next meeting on February 14 at the APIIC Welfare Association Community Hall. A federation of the colonies welfare associations is likely to be formed at the meeting, according to the committee leaders.
