Scholarships for Minorities

HYDERABAD Feb. 10. The Hyderabad district administration has proposed to sanction post-matric scholarships during the year to students belonging to the minority communities and studying professional courses like MBBS, MBA, MCA, LLB, B.Ed and D.Ed in city colleges.

In a press release, the Joint Collector, Vani Prasad, advised interested candidates to collect the relevant applications from the District Minorities Welfare Officer between February 10 and 24. The forms should be submitted to the college principals concerned before February 25. The principals of the colleges were advised to transmit the applications to the office of the District Minorities Welfare Officer, at Azampura, before February 28.
