MT to head `IV Fest' jury

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM FEB. 10. The veteran litterateur, M. T. Vasudevan Nair, would head the jury for the Second International Video Festival 2003, to be held here from March 25, the festival director, Rajivnath, said.

In a release issued here today, Mr. Rajivnath said that Amol Palelkar, Girish Kasaravally, the Doordarshan Deputy Director-General, K. Kunhikrishnan, and Rada Sesic are the jury members.

The festival is a continuation of the festival organised by C-DIT in 1995.

The IV Festival was being organised by the Government and C-DIT, Mr. Rajivnath said.

The five-day festival would have fiction, non-fiction, short films, spot films, animation films and an exclusive section for women directors, Mr. Rajivnath said.

Those intending to attend the festival as delegates could have the application forms from the Federation of Film Societies office at Kalabhavan or by sending a draft of Rs. 100 in favour of the festival director with a stamped cover of Rs. 5.

The last date was March 15, the release said.
