Ill-timed

Sir, — The decision of the Government to send hundreds of ethnic Bangladeshis packing across the border is ill-timed.

At a time when it is taking serious diplomatic action against Pakistan, the move to expel the Bangladeshi refugees seems a ploy to divert attention.
