As indicated during a meeting held at the Bangalore residence of the Hassan District in-charge Minister, H.C. Srikantaiah, which was attended by ZP members and senior Congress leaders, Mr. Vasudev submitted his resignation at the scheduled special meeting on February 14. The President of the district unit of the Congress, G.V. Siddappa, says that new ZP president will be selected after consultation with ZP members, Mr. Srikantaiah, and other senior party leaders soon. Mr. Vasudev refused to resign after the completion of his term.
