Letters to the Editor
Sir, `If infliction of indignity is not permitted by the BJP Government, be prepared for the infliction of a far higher level of lawless indignity' seems to be the way the VHP thinks, organises and acts. Praveen Togadia has threatened `if we fail to get the Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura temples, we would be forced to take back 30,000 temples' (Feb. 7). This type of thinking is highly uncivilised and an affront to the Indian Constitutional and religio-historical values. The perpetrators of such affront have to be politically undermined on a top priority basis. M.V. Sridhara, Mysore
