`ISI as dangerous as Taliban'

New Delhi Feb. 16. The Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, today warned that Pakistan's ISI is as lethal as the al-Qaeda and Taliban and by realising this danger the world can avoid incidents like the September 11 disaster.

``The West has realised the danger from al-Qaeda and Taliban, but is yet to know of the equally lethal ISI of Pakistan,'' Mr Advani said while flagging off a rath yatra, (organised by the All India Agarwal Sammelan) that would traverse the country for two years to spread the message of communal harmony and campaign against terrorism. No country can be insulated from cross-border terrorism like the one experienced by India. The country as a whole should fight against terrorism and it is not just the duty of the security forces, he said. — UNI
