Manoj allegedly stole the goods from houses and business establishments in Hennur, City Market, N.T.Pet, and J.J.Nagar police limits. With his arrest, police have solved six cases of theft. Manoj was involved in several cases of burglary in Mysore, Chennapatna, Chickpet, and Kalasipalyam Police limits in the City. He was out on bail.
Recovered
In another incident, the Kumaraswamy Police have arrested two persons and recovered stolen goods worth Rs.1 lakh from them. Police gave the names of the arrested as Abhimanyu (18) of Gowdarapalya and Umesh (20) of Chandra Nagar. The goods recovered include two mobile telephones, tape recorder, brass and bronze utensils, and a gold chain. The arrested used to keep a watch on students who went for morning walk and stole the goods from their houses. They also stole from houses under construction. With their arrest, the City Police have solved 15 cases of theft.
Stolen
Thieves broke into the house of Wahir Khan on Nagwara Main Road on Sunday and stole cash and gold ornaments worth Rs.25,000. K.G.Halli Police have registered a case.
