HSBC reduces home loan rates

CHENNAI: The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation has reduced interest rates on its home loans. The rates are among the lowest in the market and apply to all customer segments. The new rates are: Floating rate: 8.25 per cent for select tenors between four and five year periods; Fixed rate: 8.99 per cent for 8-20 year loans, says a bank release.
