IBM Global gets new director

BANGALORE: IBM India announced the appointment of Amitabh Ray as Director, IBM Global Services India (IGSI). He replaces Dr. Uday Shukla, who moves on as Director, Asia Pacific Global Delivery, IBM Global Services, an IBM release said. Mr. Ray was the leader of the technology and offshore presence of erstwhile PwC Consulting in India, which has now been merged with IBM Corporation globally to form IBM Business Consulting Services (IBM BCM), the new consulting arm of IBM Corporation, the release said. — PTI
