The following were among the movies being screened in Madras city: "Bitter Rice" with Silvana Mangano, at Minerva (air-conditioned); "Bedtime for Bonzo", a comedy with Ronald Reagan, Diana Lynn, and Bonzo the Chimp, at New Globe; "The Flame and the Arrow" starring Burt Lancaster and Virginia Mayo, at Roxy; and "Jhansi-ki-Rani" with Mehtab and Sohrab Modi at New Elphinstone.
