Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
In a statement here today, Mr. Seenu said when the rank and file were intensively campaigning for the victory of the party in Sattankulam byelection in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Vaithilingam was busying himself `for publicity purpose'. He wanted to know what action had Mr. Vaithilingam taken to ban the paan masala or paan parag when he was the Chief Minister. Mr. Vaithilingam criticised the Health department for its slackness in preventing the sale of the banned paan masala. Mr. Seenu said Mr. Vaithilingam should refrain from making such comments as that would only provoke the party workers. If Mr. Vaithilingam had any grievance he could take it up with the party leader here or with the high command. Such open criticisms would affect the party image.
