Over 130 killed in S.Korean train blaze

SINGAPORE Feb. 18. Over 130 people were killed in a devastating arsonist attack on a subway train in the South Korean city of Daegu today. An almost equal number of people sustained injuries in the attack, which was reportedly traced by the local police to a man who seemed to have acted alone out of despair over his paralysis that he had suffered during treatment for an illness. Until nightfall, there was no indication of any political or terrorist motive on the part of the suspect.
