Dharam sansad to decide on VHP agitation

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI FEB 19. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) may announce its agitation programme, demanding that the acquired land in Ayodhya be handed back, at the end of the three-day `dharam sansad' which concludes on February 24. ``The agitation programme will be decided by the sansad,'' VHP sources said.

Though the `sansad' begins a day after the Supreme Court holds its first hearing of a Government petition on February 21, the sources said they did not expect any ``relief''. The VHP would be basically following up on its publicly issued threats that an agitation could not be ruled out if the acquired land was not handed over to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, a VHP-controlled trust.
