Mann charged under TADA

New Delhi Feb. 22. The ghost of Khalistan came back to haunt the Lok Sabha member, Simranjit Singh Mann, 11 years after he allegedly backed its creation at a speech made at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib here, when a Delhi court framed charges of sedition and slapped TADA on him for supporting the cause of terrorists through his address.

Holding that prima facie a case is made out, the designated judge, S. N. Dhingra, charged him under Section 124(A) (sedition) of the IPC and Section 4(2) of TADA for supporting disruptive activities.
