Rude shock for ICC Chief
The International Cricket Council president, Mr. Malcolm Gray was in a for a rude shock when he turned up for the match between Canada and Sri Lanka only to find a handful of journalists and telecom technicians left at the venue.
The game was long finished when Gray arrived after a teleconference to decide the fate of the Kenya versus New Zealand match in Nairobi two days later. The Kiwis refused to travel because of security fears.
``I thought to turn up at lunch time and enjoy the match,'' Gray said. ``So what happened and who took the wickets?''
