Himachal Pradesh
By Our Staff Reporter
She told The Hindu in Solan on Sunday that pseudo-secularism was as deep-rooted as corruption and only the BJP, which was in a position to give a clean administration, could expose the "so-called secularists".She addressed three public meetings in Kusumpatti, Dharampur and Arki during her tour of Solan district. Claiming that the BJP was a "true follower of nationalism", she said that in the coming days all parties would have to support the party in its fight on these two issues. There was no dearth of resources in the country but the earlier Governments had institutionalised corruption. All minorities, including Muslims, would be safe in the country "once pseudo-secularists and the appeasers of minorities are exposed".On Madhya Pradesh elections, she said "no power on earth can stop the BJP from coming to power". "We will win a clear majority and change the face of an extremely backward State.'' Asked if she would accept the Chief Ministership, she said "I never answer hypothetical questions".The poll outcome in Himachal would be important for the elections in Madhya Pradesh, she said.
