Addressing presspersons, Mr. Zakir said,the ZAK group was on the threshold of reaching the landmark of organising 100 exhibitions in India and abroad. He said the group was celebrating its centennial exhibition by organising 100th, (International jewellery and watch expo 2003), 101st (F&A show 2003 (Fabrics and Accessories) and 102nd (Zak International Trade Fair 2003) exhibitions at the same time in Chennai between February 28 and March 3. The event would also have an awards presentation programme including lifetime awards to those who have contributed for the growth and development of social life. The exhibitions would be inaugurated by Maneka Gandhi, Member of Parliament, on February 27. Mr. Zakir said the group was planning to establish a ZAK Expo Centre which would be a state-of-the-art convention and trade centre.
