125 cow carcasses found in U.P.

Orai (U.P.) Feb. 25. Security has been beefed up at Gualavi village in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh following the recovery of 125 cow carcasses today.

The area was already tense following the seizure of 300 cow carcasses on February 22 causing tension in the area. Four police personnel, including a sub-inspector, were suspended.

The Inspector General, S.N. Singh, who visited the spot, assured that the guilty would be brought to book soon.
