The Third Cricket Test between India and the West Indies ended in a draw at Port of Spain, leaving the hosts leading 1-0, with two Tests to go. Brief scores: India 279 (Ramchand 62, Umrigar 61, Roy 49, Ghorpade 35, F. King 5 for 74), and 362 for 7 decl. (Apte 163 not out, Mankad 96 not out, Umrigar 67). West Indies 315 (Weekes 161, Worrell 31, Gupte 5 for 107) and 192 for 2 (Stollmeyer 104 not out), Weekes 55 not out.
