Protest rally against liberalisation

Pondicherry Feb. 27. A rally was taken out by members of various organisations of workers and government staff in response to the call given by the Pondicherry chapter of national Assembly of Trade Unions here today to protest the policies of liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation of the Central Government.

The rallyists held a demonstration at the end on Gandhi thidal.They also protested the opening up of the insurance sector, adoption of injurious labour policies of the Centre.
