Trade unions' rally in Delhi

NEW DELHI FEB. 26. Thousands of trade union activists from across the country took out a massive rally in the capital today to protest the Government's economic policy. Traffic was thrown out of gear as a result of the march to Parliament.

Demanding a reversal of the `anti-people' policies, they adopted a declaration announcing their decision to hold a one-day nationwide strike in May. The Swadeshi Jagran Manch also held a demonstration against the disinvestment policy.
