However, Justice Manmohan Sarin refused to stay celebration of the release of the book due here tomorrow when counsel for the author submitted that the book had already been released. The suit filed by Rani Rajeshwari made a limited plea to the court to stay the release of the book. Mr. Chandhiok told The Hindu that the plaintiff intend to file an amended suit claiming damages against the author as well as deletion of the defamatory passages form the book. Mr. Justice Sarin asked counsel for the author to file a reply within two weeks and fixed the matter for April 8.
