Trust helps poor patient

BELGAUM MARCH 1. Smt. Sharadadevi Basavaprabhu Kore Charitable Trust has extended financial assistance for the open-heart surgery of an eight-year-old boy from a poor family. The surgery was conducted on February 25.

Vrushab, son of Raju and Vanita Lokre of Belgaum, is stated to be recovering well.

The surgery was conducted by the cardiac surgeon, M.D. Dixit, at the KLE Society's Hospital. The trust, named after the mother of the Working Chairman of KLES, Prabhakar Kore, was formed with the objective of providing aid to poor children with heart ailments.
