By Our Staff Reporter

CHENNAI MARCH 4. The Madras High Court would pass orders on petitions seeking appointment of independent prosecutors for the `disproportionate wealth case' against the Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, following a Supreme Court decision on a petition, filed by the DMK general secretary, K. Anbazhagan, seeking transfer of the case to some other State.

"The Supreme Court has issued notice on a writ petition filed by Mr. Anbazhagan and granted stay on the proceedings before the special court-I.

In view of this... post the matter for further orders after a decision is rendered by the Supreme Court," said the bench comprising the Chief Justice B. Subhashan Reddy, and Justice C. Nagappan. C. Kuppusamy and Krishnasamy, DMK MPs, sought the appointment of special public prosecutors for cases where Ms. Jayalalithaa was cited as an accused.
