Gujarat riots: Pak. for panel

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD MARCH 6. Pakistan has called for the establishment of an international tribunal to bring to "justice all those responsible for the ghastly crimes in the Indian State of Gujarat".

Addressing the inaugural meeting of the 47th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York, the leader of Pakistan delegation, Nilofer Bakhtiar, made the demand, Pakistan Radio reported.

When the world was celebrating the International Women's Day last year, "forces of hate were playing havoc with the Muslim women in India," it quoted her as saying.
