Applications for TNPCEE

CHENNAI March 6. The online filing of applications and issue of hall tickets for the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations 2003, will begin tomorrow. Fiftyone centres in 36 cities and towns have been designated to issue the applications.

At the centre, the candidate will be photographed and once a DD drawn in favour of "The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University" payable at Chennai for the required amount is submitted, the hall ticket will be issued. The Karur Vysya Bank will issue the DDs without charging commission towards the examination registration fee in all its branches in Tamil Nadu, says a university release. Parents and students can approach the nearest centre and school authorities can liase with the nearest centre to fix suitable timings for their students. The online registration centres will be open from 9.30 a.m. till 5.30 p.m. on all days including Sundays and public holidays up to March 28. Arrangements are also being made to issue priority tokens to clear extra rush. The Cauvery College for Women, Tiruchi, will also function as a registration centre in addition to the 51 centres already notified, the release adds.
