World Cup
India is the only threat to favourite Australia in the World Cup, said West Indian cricket legend Viv Richards. ``I am sure India is rubbing its hands and licking its lips as it sees the Super Six line-up, no South Africa, no West Indies, no England, no Pakistan,'' Richards said. ``It now has a serious chance of making it to the finals, and I see it as the only threat to Australia,'' he said. Tendulkar, described as the best batsman in the world, is the highest scorer in the World Cup so far with 469 runs. ``My faith in India's chances has been bolstered by the form of Sachin Tendulkar,'' Richards said. ``If he continues in this vein, India will go far, and I think he will inspire his teammates to lift their form as the big games draw near.''
