It was tragic that a section of the people of the State, which boasts of high rate of literacy were reluctant to accept even medically accepted and proven facts, he told reporters here. Later, he along with a group of NCC officers today went to the children's house and handed over a cheque of Rs. 10,000. He said both the children would be enrolled to the NCC once they attain the requisite age. They would be allowed to attend all the major camps organised by the NCC, he said.
