Sarkar Ministry sworn in

Agartala March 7. The fifth Left Front Ministry in Tripura, led by the CPI(M) leader, Manik Sarkar (54), was today sworn-in at a ceremony here.

The Governor, Lieutenant General (retd.) K.M. Seth, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Sarkar and his Council of Ministers in the presence of leaders of various political parties and senior officials on the lawns of the Raj Bhavan. — UNI
