Scientist held

NEW DELHI MARCH 7. C.K. Jain (57), a scientist with the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here today by the Department of Revenue Intelligence while he was about to board a flight to Dubai allegedly with foreign currency worth about Rs. 65 lakhs.

DRI officials claimed that Mr. Jain disclosed that he had been working as a carrier for hawala dealers operating from Delhi and Dubai for the past several months. He was later produced in the Patiala House Courts for further remand.
