India drubs Scotland

New Delhi MARCH 8. The Indian team warmed up with a 3-1 victory over Scotland in the inaugural match of the Akhbar El-Yom fifth international hockey tournament in Cairo, Egypt, on Friday, according to information received here.

Rajpal Singh, Gurcharan Singh and Tushar Khandkar scored the goals for the Indian team, which will play Pakistan in its next match.
