``The AICC has already submitted a memorandum to the State Police Director-General, K. Chakravarthy, and will move the High Court soon alleging discriminating census being conducted by the Gujarat Police,'' Cedric Prakash of the United Christian Forum for Human Rights said today. In the past five days, such surveys were being conducted at the homes of several Christian families and offices of Christian organisations in Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Kutch districts. All the Christian organisations across the State had been instructed to withhold any such information unless police officials produced an authorised letter. The Banaskantha District Superintendent of Police, C. R. Parmar, however, denied knowledge of his officials conducting any such survey adding that he had not received any instruction from the higher authorities. PTI
