17 killed in accident

DINDIGUL MARCH 9.

Seventeen persons, including two children, were killed and five others, including a woman and a two-year-old child, were injured when a van proceeding to Ernakulam from Velankanni collided head-on with a TNSTC (Division-IV) bus at Thambi Naicken Paraipatti village in Dindigul district in the wee hours of today. All the passengers travelling in the van belonged to Idayakattuvayal village in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
