Attack on Iraq

Sir, — It has become certain that nothing will stop the U.S. President, George Bush, from attacking Iraq. He has intentionally dismissed every evidence that proved Iraq innocent. He rejected the facts that Hans Blix presented, that disprove the widespread speculation that Iraq is having weapons of mass destruction. After about 250 raids conducted into facilities, homes and even mosques and palaces, the U.N. inspectors have not come up with a single bottle of dangerous chemicals. It is neither the weapons nor regime change that the U.S. showed as reasons. It is the Middle East region which holds nearly 65 per cent of the proven oil reserves and he wants to capture them, no matter how many innocent lives lost.
