Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Chief Election Commissioner's observation that even indictments do not shame politicians has not come as a surprise. It is well known that over the years, after Independence, the politicians' skin has started thickening. Now their skin has thickened further. Thus, they have developed immunity. For them people's court is the ultimate forum. In fact they flaunt such indictments to win over the gullible electorate.
