Mr. Manikandan was here in connection with the launch of the world's largest Flatron LCD 30 inch, (L3000A) monitor. Priced at Rs. 2.47 lakhs, the product would fulfil the needs of corporate and financial institutions. The company is expected to sell 300 units in the first six months. A technological marvel, it is so thin that it can be hung on the wall easily. It also comes with an optional mounting rack and stand. It can receive not only analogue and digital signals but also AV signals making it possible to connect to DVD and video game players. Its picture in picture (PIP) function allows users to enjoy video games while watching TV or to search the Internet while watching a DVD movie simultaneously. Its unique LightView concept allows users to freely adjust brightness and colour and temperature depending on the time of usage of monitor.
