Foreigner freed

JAIPUR MARCH 12. A Danish national, Thomas Jensen, who was abducted here four days ago, was freed today from his kidnappers on the Ajmer Highway near Bagru, a senior police official said here,

Nine men were arrested in this connection, the Deputy-Inspector General of Police, Ajit Singh, told PTI. Mr. Jensen, who came here for sight-seeing, was reported missing from the Pink City since March 8 when the accused allegedly overpowered him for a ransom of $15,000, the DIG said. An FIR in connection with the case was lodged on Tuesday by Ranjit Dayal, a private firm owner.
