Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is really a shocking news that 270 Indians, including a large number of IT professionals, were singled out and roughed up in Malaysia (March 10) during an alleged drive against illegal immigration. This is a serious violation of human rights and the hostility shown is unparalleled. The talk of trade ties and mutual exchange of high-level visits for furthering the relations between the two countries becomes meaningless in the aftermath of the harassment meted out to the Indians in that country.
