A choppy tip

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD March 13. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu's penchant for travelling by helicopter to visit various districts made a Congress member, G. Chinna Reddy, to come out with an outlandish suggestion in the Assembly on Thursday.

Initiating discussion on demands for grants of the Cooperation, Agriculture, Civil Supplies and Animal Husbandry departments, Dr. Reddy suggested that Mr. Naidu could help in aerial sprinkling of seed while travelling in his chopper. To help in wider and proper distribution of seed he could take along with him an official of the Forest Department.

Dr. Reddy floated the idea while describing the practice of seed distribution before monsoon as practised in Israel to ensure coverage of more areas.
