The bombs kept in a polythene bag in the autorickshaw stand were spotted by a porter, Hirday Ram, around 3 p.m. He immediately informed a head constable, Jitender, who in turn alerted senior police officers. A bomb disposal squad was called to the spot to defuse the bombs. Special Cell sleuths also reached the station to probe the matter. Police claimed that the bombs were not as powerful as the one planted in a Mumbai train on Thursday. However, as a precautionary measure, the Delhi police have issued a red-alert to prevent any such incident.
