THIRUVANANTHAPURAM March 18. Three mediapersons suffered minor injuries in a scuffle when the city police stopped a march taken out by the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) to the Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today.

The march was taken out from the Museum Junction at around 7-30 p.m. in protest against the alleged police assault on journalists covering the hartal in Kozhikode.

The marchers were stopped by the police near the Althara Junction at Vellayambalam. A scuffle ensued when the mediapersons attempted to make their way through the police cordon. The injured mediapersons are under treatment at the General Hospital here.
