C.P. Jain, new SCOPE chief

NEW DELHI MARCH 19. C.P. Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, was elected Chairman, Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), in the biennial elections in New Delhi today.

Raji Philip, Chairman and Managing Director, Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited, was elected Vice-Chairman. Nineteen members of the Executive Board, comprising chief executives of member enterprises, were also elected by the SCOPE Electoral College.
