Australian journalist killed

HALABJA (Iraq) March 22. An Australian journalist was killed today when a car bomb exploded in Kurdish-controlled northern Iraq, colleagues said.

Three Kurdish peshmerga fighters were killed and another journalist wounded in the blast outside the village of Khormal, a base of an Islamic group which had earlier been destroyed by U.S. cruise missiles.
