Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
He said when he got ready a piece weighing 210 mg, he came to know that a piece weighing 170 mg was made by a goldsmith in Coimbatore. He wanted to establish a record by making a piece, weighing less than what was made in Coimbatore. He thus made another piece weighing 130 mg. While the first piece was 11 mm in height, the other one was just 9 mm tall. Tirunavukarasu said he would send the piece weighing 210 mg to Sourav Ganguly as his gift. Tirunavukarasu, who is aged 20 years, is the son of a carpenter and has won the encomiums of the Pondicherry State Viswakarma Aabarana Thozhilalar Nala Sangam. The youth also developed a silver model of a sports cap, which he had made sometime ago.
