World Cup
The Australian players have decided to split the $3.4 million prize money, which they earned after winning the World Cup and leggie Shane Warne will also be getting some of it. The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) has agreed to give all the money won from the tournament to the players. ``We told them the prize money is theirs and it's up to them how they split it up,'' an ACB official said. According to media reports, it was decided that the total pool of match payments and winnings would be split evenly, meaning that Nathan Bracken and Nathan Hauritz neither of whom bowled a ball in a match will get more than $100,000 each.
