World Cup
The members of the Indian team would be carrying specially designed and gold-containing mugs to be presented by a Durban-based ceramic artist. Veejeand Desai has crafted 15 mugs with the names of all the 15 members of the team engraved in 18-carat gold and would give them to the players soon. ``I have already contacted the local Indian Consul-General Ajit Kumar and sought his assistance to give the mugs to the players,'' said Desai, who is an ardent supporter of the team. "The words `CWC 2003 South Afrca' is engraved on all the mugs,'' Desai said in an interview to The Sunday Times newspaper in Durban.
